A Time To Dance

I’m blogging, just trying to compose prolificacy since I could not get my eyes to a good doze of forty winks.

From this restlessness, I recall bits and pieces of a beautiful past. Among those are the things I truthfully regret the absence now – that tremendous liberty of just being an innocent little girl.

I saw this little girl dancing. That little one who had empty pockets and had nothing on her hands, almost unnoticed attractiveness, almost insignificant, but she is unrestrained to be who she is... Unaware of the beauty she posses inside, the way she moves to dance captivates the biggest of heart.

She could dance under the rain; she could laugh oblivious of nothing. She could run wild, walk skipping, or whistle under the trees. She could stay up all day to watch the heavens until the stars show up and fall. She could sing, or speak and draw a smile on a paper heart that has run out of vigor. And the way she lives a day orchestrates the grandest piece that completes the song of all songs

She would do doodles of her dreams on paper pads and make it into paper planes and paper boats… wishing they would reach an undiscovered shore, wishing they would fly. She would often pour out her heart in a song, in unfamiliar melodies.  And the beat and the rhythms explicates the poundings of her heart,  one that is constantly in sync with the loudest of all heart beats.

She can love. She can dance. Her heart is a red helium balloon tied on a new born baby’s little thumb. Winds blow, and she flies light as feather above the pastures, above the colorful plains, to the darkest caves, to the open sky.

And when she would close her eyes, her heart would always bring her to this dance floor. She takes a step or two, and as the world will stay still and watch purity on every turn, the earth unshackles to follow along  the rhythms of the Ultimate.

To what I could recall, the moment she has known how to love, how to simply be a child, the curtains of this beautiful dance floor has opened in the season to dance.

Desperate for that moment to come once more to this land she was brought to, she arises from this empty well of shame, looking at the child she once was.. into the depth of the heart of this child... to be this child.

She begins humming and riding on the flow of unfettered melodies, awakening an untamed zeal for love... let the drumbeats roll… Open this season of dancing once more.

Call me by name and I’ll come dancing, I’ll come undignified.
